About Chieftain trees

Our vision

Our vision is to help millions of people re-wild the Earth.

Chieftain trees was launched as a blog to build a community of diverse thinkers, collaborating to find creative solutions to restore and protect wilderness on the earth through community action and sustainable, eco friendly change. 

Additionally we are looking to partner with sustainable businesses that align with our communities values of ethical, sustainable supply chains and environmentally friendly practices. 

Start Small 

Reforestation has been identified as the number 1 most effective and affordable solution for climate mitigation in a peer-reviewed study by scientists in over 15 institutions around the world. 

We will start by educating individuals to make actionable every-day change locally. Deforestation effects everybody so let's get started now.

Scaling the Plan 

In the long term we will be buying land to rewild for the community. To facilitate a rewilding project we need revenue, which is why we decided to sell photography and embrace affiliate links to support site and project. 

Although the current plan is evolving, the core principles of the 3 pillars remain the same. 

If you have knowledge to share we would love to have you contribute to the blog.  We're also totally cool with others promoting their business through the blog, we're actually actively looking to promote sustainable and eco friendly businesses for free so get in touch.

Wilding Projects

We are currently working on establishing our first small scale wilding project on the west coast of Ireland, which will be symbolically dedicated towards the five sacred trees of Ireland.
